This project began with one name – Jacques Tati. French Filmmaker. Actor. Mime. Director.
We are constantly interacting with people and things around us, even unknowingly – neighbours, laptops, toothbrushes, dogs, doors. Tati’s films brought to the fore things we take for granted. By isolating certain absurdities of modern life and by creating characters that sometimes struggle to adapt to it, he makes us think about us in our world. This inspired us to create this multisensory, interactive experience as a reflection of modern life and its absurd habits and behaviours.
